Top Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Finland, Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Finland showcased varied performance trends as observed through Sensor Tower data.

Google Earth from Google LLC maintained a consistent user base with weekly active users hovering around 13K to 15K throughout the quarter. Downloads remained steady, peaking at approximately 1.5K in mid-October and showing slight fluctuations thereafter.

Karttaselain - Maastokartta, published by AccelBit Oy, experienced a notable spike in revenue, reaching around $8.8K in mid-November. Its downloads varied slightly, mostly ranging between 1K and 1.4K, while active users showed a declining trend from about 29K to under 10K by the end of December.

Fintraffic Mobiili saw a significant increase in downloads during mid-November, reaching over 2K. However, the app had no reported revenue during this period.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had a consistent performance with active users slightly increasing from 8K to over 9K. Weekly downloads showed moderate fluctuations, peaking at 893 in mid-December.

Finally, Maastokartat by MapsiTech Oy experienced a gradual decline in active users, starting from 32K and dropping to around 15K by the end of the quarter. Downloads were low, with a notable drop to under 100 in mid-December, while revenue slightly decreased over the period, ending at approximately $1.7K.
